Decompression: used to treat herniated and bulging discs

Decompression Therapy: Relieve, Restore, Renew!

Decompression is a therapeutic technique used to relieve pressure on the spinal discs, particularly for individuals with herniated or bulging discs. It involves stretching the spine using a traction table or similar device with the goal of creating negative pressure within the discs. This can help retract the herniated or bulging disc material, allowing it to heal and alleviating associated symptoms.

Through Chiropractic Care, we focus on the relationship between the nervous system and the spine. We will strive to reduce pain and improve functionality, while taking steps to enhance overall health and well-being for our patients.

What to Expect…
A typical visit to Windsor Hills Family Chiropractic Center will include myofascial release (deep muscle work) applied to tight muscles, rehab training, Cox distraction and a low-force adjustment. An impulse instrument will be used on the neck (low-force instrument adjusting). Dr. Claire specializes in low-force techniques, which are gentle enough for a young child or elderly person.
